Our founder's journey began in business school in India, where a graduation speaker sparked the fire in him to start something of his own.
However, like many others, the lack of guidance and technical expertise left his dream unfulfilled. Years later, during a masters program in France, he discovered his skills and expertise and knew it was time to give back to the entrepreneurial community. The Founding of Varick Consulting
Digvijay Deshmukh
Hello there, I am Digvijay Deshmukh, founder of Varick Consulting. Varick was born when I was completing my master's in Business Development from GEM, France although the idea of starting a consulting firm first stemmed from the commencement speech at my B-school in Pune. The speaker was a representative of the Indo-German Chambers of Commerce and she mentioned how social conventions are the greatest barrier to the entrepreneur in us.
Most of us get into the socially accepted conventions of graduation. Our curriculums are not designed to promote an entrepreneurial mindset amongst our students. Consequently, students end up going for higher education falling deeper into debt and responsibilities.

Along the way, most people get married and start a family making it extremely difficult to quit a job and start something from scratch.
When I was in France completing my masters from GEM
I started Varick Consulting to break this cycle first for myself and along the way, help entrepreneurs turn their ideas into reality. If there’s one thing we should know about entrepreneurship it is this: The journey begins not with a plan but with action.
